Travel to Mojacar is easy. Almeria is the nearest and most convenient airport being only 40 minutes drive from the apartment. Other options for flights are Mucia and Alicante which are also within quite easy travelling distance.
For Almeria, Easyjet, Ryanair and now Monarch provide frequent cheap flights from London airports - Stansted (Easyjet + Ryanair), Gatwick (Easyjet) or Luton (Monarch). These flights can be simply booked online. The standard carriers like BA and Iberia also fly to the area from Gatwick or Heathrow though the flight costs are usually more. From the airports, travel to Mojacar can be by car or airport shuttle service. There is a good choice of economic car hire companies, which can also be booked online or by telephone in advance. If you would prefer to travel by coach, we would recommend contacting Tarleton Travel, a UK travel firm who can offer transfer from the airport to Mojacar Playa.
In Mojacar itself, there are some good bus services between the Playa and the Pueblo (Old Town), and along the beach from Garrucha to the far end of Mojacar Playa, serving the main hotels and the area around the apartment.
